Long time resident of northeastern US, but have traveled and lived in a number of countries, including South America, Scottish Islands, Great britain, France, Canada and Puerto Rican region of the Caribbean.

Have successfully managed a variety of businesses, from restaurants to hardware to electronics. With training and a roving temperament have worked variously as a broadcast news reporter, police officer and electronics technician, before settling upon a career as paramedic and emergency medical service educator, with a small computer consulting service on the side.

Now married nearly 20 years, I have two boys approaching teen age years. With my wife Cathy, I oversee the local Cub Scouting program. We also provide merit badge counseling at the Boy Scouting level. Living within a few miles of several State and Federal forests we have opportunities to pursue Naturalist interests, hiking, climbing, camping and canoeing, with skiing and snow shoeing in winter. Among other interests are technologies all kinds, chess, GO, fencing, light sailboat racing, snorkeling and free diving, rock climbing, history and literature. With some emphasis on military history and counter-terrorist operations.

As a BBS sysop I have been running Medics Meetinghouse BBS since the Summer of 1991. Later that same year I became active in the formation of TTN Net, which subsequently evolved into the World Message Exchange Network (WME Net). I have been active in WME continuously since that time. At present I operate both my personal MMH-BBS, and the WME Nethost machine. Both machines are running TriBBS software, the WME MMH-BBS system is a DOS session under OS/2 Warp 4.

The WME Nethost machine is running under DOS 6.22.
